I have never heard of Independent Insurance Group. How do I know I am dealing with a reputable company?
IIG was formed in October of 2022. Its partners have over 45 years of collective experience in life insurance and helping families. Our principles are simple. Customers needs are first. Even though we are new. Our carriers are not. We simply are the bridge between you and our partners. All our agents are licensed and prescreened by the state and you can look up any of them on the insurance commissioners database.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA and now living in Columbus, OH, Juan DeLaVega has a total of 37 years in sales. He has spent 11 years helping protect families with Final Expense policies and offering funeral services. Thus far he has assisted families in 100+ final services. Saving families money and making sure they are protected is something he prides himself in.
Juan believes in leading by example. You can always find him in the field working side by side with new agents and clients. He enjoys showing his new agents how to serve the client first and to protect their families.
Juan’s journey started when his mother passed in 2003. Through his experience with her final services he learned the value of having someone to help families navigate through the decisions and pitfalls when you lose a loved one. He has passed this knowledge on to his agents.
